Coles Beach is a picturesque 500-meter stretch of soft white sand located in the heart of Devonport, Tasmania, within a semi-circular north-facing bay. The unpatrolled swimming beach offers a serene atmosphere with a combination of sand and cobble features, particularly at high tide when it becomes steep and narrow, while low tide exposes wide bars with rock flats and boulders. Nearby facilities include public toilets, sealed walking and cycling track, electric barbecue, picnic shelters and outdoor shower.
