Fabulous campground, being right on the beach, with a beautiful bush setting. Each site is nestled amongst the trees, with a fire pit on most sites. The amenities are modern and spotlessly clean. Thank you Melody for the warm welcome in reception. Each day we were lucky to be visited by a small mob of Western Grey Kangaroos, Ringneck parrots and fairy wrens. We’d highly recommend booking a tour on the W.O.W Echo tour of the inlet. Possibly the most informative, entertaining tour we’ve ever experienced, followed by a beer and pizza at the pub. Had a fabulous stay in Walpole and highly recommend.

A little gem! Secluded, off the highway within a tranquil setting including resident roos and firepits. The beach was inviting and sheltered in the bay. All the amenities were clean and grounds very well maintained. We were only there a night before hiking four days on the Bibbulmun track. The park are a service provider and member of the Bibb, which means they are happy to hold on to surplus bags/bikes/cars for those who are on track. This is SUPER valuable, and we were greatly appreciative. Staff are amazing and super helpful! Would stay again in a heart beat.

Great caravan park with plenty of space amongst nice trees. Good toilets and camp kitchen and rec room for the kids to play in. All felt really relaxed and great vibes. Very close to the beach with great access, fun and safe. If you have a boat, there's a great ramp nearby and lovely spot to get out on the inlet.

This park is a little gem, hidden away in Forrest surroundings you feel a total castaway. Great size bays. When we arrived late on day 1 we were on a great bay for a caravan but I couldn’t level the motorhome. Spoke to Melody (Madeline) and she was so helpful moving us to a fantastic bay the next morning Facilities are great and the cleanest dump point I’ve ever seen Can’t wait to go back

We stayed at Coalmine Beach, Walpole from 30 December to 2 January 2026 on Site 44, and our family had such a wonderful experience. A special thank you to Melody, who kindly helped us when we realised we had forgotten our duvets and pillows. She arranged warm bedding for us, and we slept comfortably every night without any trouble. Her kindness truly made our stay so much easier. The facilities were excellent — very clean bathrooms, a well‑maintained camp kitchen, and plenty of space around the grounds for families to relax. The movie night was fantastic — they played Zootopia, which the kids absolutely loved. The location is incredibly convenient, with a supermarket just five minutes away, plus a liquor store and a bakery nearby that sells delicious pies and sausage rolls. We really appreciated the hospitality and the peaceful environment. We will definitely be back. Thank you again, Melody, for your thoughtful gesture and warm service.
