Clovelly Beach is a charming beach with volleyball nets on it and a secured pool. Excellent place to go for loose sand and fewer crowds. Also within walking distance to a few cafes. Recommend.

Perfect coastal walk in this cooler weather. What's not to love about this hinden gem on the way! Love that it's so carm for kids and lot's of street parking. Best part the Cafe to grab a bite to eat and coffee

A spot that's frequently recommended as a snorkeling practice spot for beginners. But the day I visited was absolutely brutal. The water was so choppy I wouldn't be surprised if there was any fatality due to the water smashing against the concrete platform. I came here to have a casual dip and try snorkelling but got out of the water after 5-10 minutes because I feared getting injured. The water might be not consistently calm throughout the year. There were many families with kids though. Probably you'll have a good time if the weather is good.

If you think you know a better spot for a small, cozy beach with several ways to get into the water (from the shore or straight into deeper water), beautiful snorkeling spots, and the incredible coastal walk from Clovelly to Coogee, then sure, you can skip this one😉

Not as picturesque as the other beaches we passed on our walk and from a distance looks like a concrete lined bay. Sandy spot of course but the concrete nature of either side of the bay turns it into a natural swimming pool with a number of people doing lengths up to where the waves break and back. Quite a sight.
