Please make an effort to stay in at this park, either on route or for a rest in this town of Charters Towers. Wonderful park with much thanks to Danielle and Brett. Was received with such warmth on original call and towards finding on an available camp site amongst the busy school holidays of July. Friendly welcome on site with honesty and effort on catering to all needs on greeting. Fantastic camp kitchen and this has been a great meeting place to talk with others on areas to visit, best fishing locations due to recents rains and back roads to short cut through country. Also, thanks to hosts and everyone, as all local knowledge for seeing the sights, eats and historical main street is very welcomed. This town, Charters Towers, has such great sports parks to walk your furry family members and there is also an amazing gym, with classes, opposite the local IGA where so inclined. Spotlessly clean amenities and general camp respect towards others always shows a well managed and hosted park. I did not book a cabin, so unable to comment, though would like to extend and say that on general care and attention to park's efficiency, the cabins would reflect with the same content and valor. This is a beautiful park to stay in. Thanks again Danielle and Brett.

We were her for 29 days to help friends that had car trouble & had to wait for parts. The managers Danielle & Brett could not of been more helpful & supportive of our friends & ourselves. They are so busy making sure everything runs smoothly. Brett is always doing things around the park. Danielle was the most pleasant person to deal. The toilets & shower area was. Clean water pressure in showers was amazing. Water always hot & I have never known caravan parks to change shower curtains that often & they supply proper bath mats. We would stay here again in a heart beat. Thank you both as well as your cleaners so so much. Love you both❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

We only stayed 2 nights, hosts were very accommodating and the amenities were spotless. Charters Towers has a lot to offer visiting tourists and our only regret is we didn't put a longer stay here. Will definately put this lovely park on the revisit list.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We arrived in Charters Towers just on nightfall on a Sunday after travelling from Julia Creek. We were much later than expected thanks to my grandson having a fantastic time exploring the Dinosaur Trail! To make matters worse, I suddenly realised we hadn’t booked any accommodation. As soon as reception returned, I called what we had been told was the best caravan park in town and received a very unfriendly response from the person who answered the phone. Thankfully, I then called Charters Towers Tourist Park, and what a difference! The after-hours booking process was easy, and they kindly put us on a drive-through site so we could get away early the next morning. The new park managers, Danielle and Brett, were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Friendly, helpful and accommodating from the very first phone call. The park itself was clean, well maintained and very welcoming. Highly recommend Charters Towers Tourist Park and we’ll definitely stay here again when passing through.
