Amazing stay! Beautiful bush setting and a wonderful artesian bore water pool experience. We stayed in the unpowered bore camp area which is 4 kms of unseal red dirt off the main highway. You can set up your camp wherever you like within the area (but not on the road ways which some inconsiderate people do). Charlotte Plains is a very popular place, it is quite busy during the school holidays. Amenities are rustic but minimal in numbers especially when there is high numbers of guests in the campground, only 6 toilets and 3 showers (not sure why the 2 change rooms canβt be also toilets). Servicing of amenities should be more regular to ensure stock is replenished, toilets are working and area is keep tidy, especially in high capacity and when you consider the costs to stay here. There is a bar and a merchandise shop on site (only accepts card, no cash). Check in is via the iPad on the wall in the info/wifi hut next to the bar. There is a nightly communal fire pit and you can have your own (you can gather wood/old trees from the property for your fire). I like that they have a video of the history of the property in the afternoons. There is no phone receptions service at the campsite but they do offer free one-off WiFi for 15mins at the after that it is $10 for 3 days for unlimited WiFi access. We did the audio tour drive around the property, we really enjoyed learning and seeing the history of the property.

Excellent location with thermal bore baths. The amenities and facility is incredible given the remoteness of this location. It can be quite busy in peak times but the camp sites are so huge you can find a spot to yourself. Theres even a bar that serves alcohol

We had a great weekend at the Stars of Charlotte Plains Music Festival. Only issue, toilets and showers not cleaned regularly, a gurney twice a day for all the mud/sand in the showers would've been great. For 800+ people you will need to add another ablution block. Only other issue was people running their generators the whole day, this totally spoiled the atmosphere. Other than that we had a great time.

1 night turned into 4 after a bit of rain. What a place to get stuck - the baths were a beautiful 41 degrees the campsites clean and well maintained- nice hot showers clean toilets and a great bar. Beautiful warm fire every night - we will be back again. Thanks to our host for a great stay.

We have just visited Charlotte Plains for the third time and are already planning the next trip. The artesian baths are INCREDIBLE and the sunsets are gorgeous. The amenities are super well maintained and a lot of effort has gone into the bar, merchandise store, communal fire place and garden area. We have been in hot weather and cold weather, during music events and off-peak seasons, and it is always a relaxing and enjoyable time.
