The place was average for a barbecue with friends and family, especially with the option for a short hike. However, the toilets were dirty, had an offensive smell, and lacked both toilet paper and liquid handwash. The only water available was from a tap, and it was not potable.

Loved this place. Great little walk to the platform lookout, fairly easy although there is a little hill and may be slippery in wet weather. We were blesses with sunny skies. There is a lot of bird life and songs. The sound of the flowing water is beautiful. A really tranquil place and glad to have deviated from my usual Healesville and Marysville expedition. The car park is clean and toilets too. Yes it is important. There are picnic benches ans BBQ facilities. Really cute little spot. Plenty of hikers making their way through the National Park although overall it was quiet for a school holidays.
