π Warrnambool, VIC
Nigretta Falls is a 15-20 metre segmented cascade waterfall on the Wannon River located 16 kilometres west of Hamilton in western Victoria's Southern Grampians Shire. Unlike a single plunge, the falls feature multiple channels bouncing over Devonian volcanic rock, creating an interesting multi-drop formation. The scenic reserve includes toilets, seating, electric barbecues and stairs down to pools where visitors can swim on warm days, with winter months offering the most dramatic water flow.

The visit to the monument honoring Portuguese navigations through the southern seas is very interesting. Curiously, there's a theory that says Australia was 'discovered' by the Portuguese in 1522.

Great little spot to sit and look out over the view of the lake and surrounding area.

A nice place to sit in your car and enjoy your lunch. Has some display military guns there as well as a few small monuments. It was very popular when we were there. The view is also the best in Warrnambool.
