The Worst hotel I ever stayed at, Shower was so small I couldn't move around in it, completely no Wifi for 4 days, Beds were so Narrow,Humid and rough, I had little to no sleep at all for 4 nights (had to wake up 5 in the morning to go to work). There was also a cabinet weighed in the middle of both beds which made it impossible to work around. Basically left last night before checking out today to go back to Melbourne to avoid being any more sleep deprived and even after an 8 hour drive home I had much better rest at home then I did here. I absolutely would not recommend this Village and I will never be returning here again.

Stayed in a standard two bedroom cabin, was so old and outdated and nothing like the photos online. We chose this place as the photos showed it was all modern and updated, it certainly was not what we got! Had ants everywhere and no ant/fly spray or broom to sweep up any mess on the floor. The beds wereΒ uncomfortable, the cabin was really dirty, dusty, unclean and had a bad smell to it. It only had a small bar fridge, tiny tv and one sink, the shower was small and lots of mould in the bathroom. The couch was so old a worn it was like you were sitting on the floor and was extremely difficult to get out of, was very uncomfortable to sit in too. The hot water took a long time to come through and then in the shower it would consistently go from being hot to then cold back to hot again. The bathroom door had issues with the door lock and you would get locked in. Lucky we had multiple people staying so they could open the door from the outside. There was no wifi. If you wanted it you had to go to the rec room. The only positive was the location. It was extremely disappointing especially considering what we paid.

I am a solo female traveller and after reading some of the reviews I was not sure how my stay would go. On arrival however, the reception staff were very welcoming and professional. I asked some questions about safety in the park and it was explained to me that there is a swipe card boom gate at the park entrance, and management stays on site 24 hours (there is an after hours phone number) that can be called if needed. my cabin (2br standard) had a security screen so I felt very safe. The room was clean, the bed linen crisp white just like in any good hotel. I found the bed comfy. The curtains full blockout so privacy is assured. There is a ceiling fan in each room and a quality reverse cycle air con in kitchen living area, a kettle, toaster, microwave, good sized fridge (no freezer) which I think is good cause my last hotel fridge at another location froze my fridge food. Saucepan and frypan, good number of plates, saucers, proper sized coffee cups and plenty of utensils for cooking. Old school decent shower head - just have to change temp in very small increments not big turns and the perfect shower can be had. Bathroom dated but clean. Has dining table for 4. The cabin is more spacious than a hotel room, bistro available for meals and a tavern. I read the food is amazing. I did not witness any rowdy or inappropriate behaviour at all. Yes there are permanent residents but they donβt live near where my cabin was and they are just living their lives like everyone else and there was no trouble. Itβs quiet, I could slightly hear the main road but no bother and I slept well. The downsides - free wifi is really only accessible in the rec room BUT I was able to turn on roaming in my phone settings and hotspot my mobile (so I could use my laptop top) so I had good internet every day. The pelmets, sofa (3seater) and dining chairs look dated but for the benefit of more room and a gas stovetop so I could cook, I didnβt mind. To be honest - if you want super modern dont come here. If you want safety, free parking right next to your cabin, more room, affordability (if you hunt the specials) and practicality then this is the spot. I have to travel from out of area to see specialists so it suits me perfectly in terms of affordability and convenience and I will stay again. I hope this info helps for anyone who needed a bit more info. Cheers.

Great location. Just a short walk to the bus stop and an easy ride to Capital Hill. Had a great meal on site. Very reasonable prices and tasty food. Shower blocks and toilets quite tired looking but had a couple of nice warm showers.

Bit of a secluded area but not too far out, tourist attraction brochers at check in & tag required to enter. Onsite tavern, kitchen, laundry room, & 2 bathroom blocks- clean & surprisingly not freezing to shower. Overall a good place to stay if you'd rather avoid expensive hotels. Only kind've annoying thing was 10am check out when you're on the grass & check in is 3pm.
