Well worth a visit.. Tour was interesting and informative. Cave is facinating with the lake as a point of difference to other caves... Staff are friendly and knowledgable. Just be aware there are alot of stairs to get to the cave so you need to have some fitness.. would recommend

Strongly recommend visiting this cave, Jewel and Mammoth caves. Each cave is different and exceptional. The Caves people have done a great job preser ing the caves and pro ide a fantastic presentation on all but Mammoth cave, which is a self guided tour with a narrated recorder thingo. There are 350 plus stairs down to the cave, so the same up. Take it easy and make the effort.

Our very first attraction stop after landing in Perth, and we were so glad we came! Our guide was so knowledgeable, engaging, and friendly, and it was heartening to see people who had such love and respect for nature. She spent a great deal of time describing the history of the place, and how the stalactites and stalagmites form over very long periods of time – truly a spectacular sight to behold. The temperature inside the cave is a very welcoming respite from the summer heat, and interestingly it remains largely stable throughout the seasons – relatively warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer compared to the outside.

We joined the morning tour and had a very friendly guide (lady, forgot name). The group size was manageable, which made the experience more enjoyable. She put in a lot of effort and explained everything well. The tour itself was interesting, and the cave is beautiful with its lake, just as the name suggests. It’s a relatively short visit, around 45 minutes in total, with about 15 minutes to explore and take photos. Overall, a nice experience.

I visited this cave today and had a fantastic experience. The tour lasts around 40 minutes, and every minute was worth it. Our guide was incredibly attentive and managed the group exceptionally well, making sure everyone felt safe, informed, and engaged throughout the visit. The cave itself is fascinating, with impressive formations and a cool, mysterious atmosphere that makes the whole walk feel like an adventure.
