π Megalong Valley, NSW
Cahill's Lookout in Katoomba provides one of the Blue Mountains' most spectacular yet uncrowded panoramic vantage points over Megalong Valley, Boar's Head Rock and Narrow Neck Peninsula. First opened in 1959 by NSW Premier J.J. Cahill, the lookout features multiple viewing platforms accessible via a paved 500-metre walking path requiring about 15 minutes. A dedicated paid carpark provides convenient access, and the location is particularly stunning at sunset when light illuminates the golden cliffs of Narrow Neck Peninsula.
