We stayed at Camp Crusty for 6 nights. During our stay, one of the bathroom blocks was closed for cleaning the entire time. While it wasn't a dealbreaker, it did make shower times tricky, as the remaining block only had 3 showers to serve what felt like the whole park. It's also worth noting that the bathrooms aren't heated and have a pretty cold draft. On the plus side, the location is absolutely amazing! The open toilets were always clean and well-stocked with toilet paper. They also have convenient washers, dryers, and a camp kitchen available. The absolute best part, though, was being able to have a campfire. The grounds are mostly unattended and self-service, but we didn't experience any loud or rude neighbors during our stay. I would highly recommend staying here! My only recommendation for the park would be to enclose the shower and toilet blocks a bit more so it doesn't feel quite so much like you're showering outside.

We booked here for Easter, and it was the last available place on the internet. We were a bit worried after reading the reviews, but we had no other choice. When we arrived at the campsite, we were told that our booking site number had been changed without notice, and we were given a different number. When we got to the new site, it was too steep and full of rocks, making it impossible to set up a tent. Even the people around us said it would be hard to camp there and suggested we go back to the reception to ask for a different site. When we went back to the reception to ask for a different site, the reception lady didn’t apologize at all and rudely said there were no other options, and if we didn’t like it, we could leave and get a refund. My 9-year-old child who was listening to the conversation next to us was so surprised that the receptionist was so rude. YES, she was!!! We would like to leave but all other places were already booked, and it was a 4-hour drive back home. We had no choice but to stay there. During our stay the only advantages of this place were its location and low price. The roads were all dirt, so whenever a car passed it kicked up dust like a construction site. The bathroom clearly needed renovation, and for three days the kitchen appeared to need careβ€”the sponge used for washing dishes hadn’t been replaced for 3 days. And some people talk loudly until midnight. Bright was nice to visit, but it wasn’t a place I’d want to return to Camp Crusty.

We hired a power site for week, with no regrets. The facilities are immaculate clean. Location of this park is perfect, Bike track opposite and just a short 2 minute drive to town. Whether it being first time to Bright or second consider Camp Crusty, why? Dog friendly, cleanliness, location, views and quietness. Enjoyed my stay will be coming back!

Large park with many accommodation options. Two amenities blocks both of rustic style, however very clean with great hot showers. Sites are large with powered and non powered. The park is in a bush setting with lots of birdlife. We enjoyed watching and listening to the Gang Gangs and Kookaburras in the later afternoon. Staff were super and were able to help us out when we needed some assistance, thankyou :-) Directly adjacent to the Mystic Mountain Bike Track. This will be our choice next time we are in Bright

Location was great - swimmable creek on grounds, lots of beautiful tall gum trees, and a short drive from the centre of Bright. Grounds were very busy and large though - so felt a bit steep to be paying 70 bucks a night and be so close to so many other tents and the road (meant it was quite loud at night/early morning). Bathrooms were a bit β€˜crusty’ but shower water was warm so can’t really complain.
