I really enjoyed my stay. I was here from Thursday to Sunday in a tent site. I was worried at first surrounded by paperback trees but it was so beautiful to wake up to the birds and greenery with the lake in the background. There was the odd mosquito and moth but otherwise no pests. It was a rainy and windy weekend but still enjoyable. The camp kitchen is comfortable and clean with a toaster, kettle, shared fridge, 2 shared gas BBQ plates. Multiple seating. Double sink to wash up with hot water. BYO utensils, crockery and pans Really friendly staff and we could have a fire. They hire the put unless you want to bring your own. They also sell bags of firewood. There are 2 cafes a short 10 min walk away, quaint and friendly town. Playgrounds everywhere. Kids on bikes with reasonably safe areas to ride. The lake is shallow and some people go fishing. Ideal for learning to paddleboard. There are bull sharks quite a way out in the channel. The hotel is a cut through a mowed track 5 min up the hill.

A wonderful unique lake in a national park. Excellent spot. Close to Pomona which we loved. The walk to the Apolloinian hotel was easy & the food wonderful. Very peaceful & relaxing. Went on Noosa Everglades cruise only minutes away.Great camp kitchen and good shower amenities .best value for money so far.

I got a spot right on the waterfront, breathtaking. Camp fires allowed, as long as they were off the ground. Heaps of activities to do or not. Pub is a two minute walk for dinner with live music. I was a solo female traveler and felt safe. So quiet at night time. Kangaroos to wake up to grazing by your campsite in the early morning. Sunrise is worth getting up for. Will return

Everything was great! Appreciate that they aren't letting in as many people and give campers the space we need to enjoy ourselves. It was like we had our own backyard, with plenty of activities for the family to do, like bike riding, fishing, lazy floating on thr lake, water sports, and strolling to the local pub and cafe! Can't wait to return! Only the downturn was that the hot water system wasn't working the whole time during our stay- bad timing, we thought, as the water in the bottles was empty! Suggested a maintenance/affirmation whiteboard to connect campers and management! Photos tell it all!
