About Bongil Bongil National Park

South of Coffs Harbour, Bongil Bongil National Park stretches between Sawtell and Mylestom, protecting 4,316 hectares of wild beaches, sweeping coastal views, rainforest and peaceful streams. The park hosts about 165 bird species and one of NSW's largest koala populations among eucalypt forests. Activities include bushwalking, cycling, fishing, beach walking, birdwatching, canoeing and horse riding on traditional Gumbaynggir Country.
