One of the best spots in Airlie beach. Perfect for sunbathing and chill at the beach

Boathaven Beach is a quieter alternative to the main beach in Airlie. The water is usually calm, making it a good spot for a swim or to simply sit and enjoy the view. The beach is clean, well looked after and within walking distance of town, so it’s easy to include in your day if you’re staying nearby. A nice place to slow down for a while.

Better beach and sand as compared to Main Airlie beach next to the lagoon.

Great swimming beach. Better than Airlie beach, as you can swim in peace with the clearly visible shark and jellyfish barrier. It is an off-leash park, so be careful of the one or two local bogans who can't control their dogs. Most days it is brilliant. Great for everyone.

My fave beach in Airlie, I’m down there every morning for the sunrise, it’s so so so gorgeous and peaceful, outdoor shower and water fountain too, and a little bit of shade in the palm trees 🌴
