We have been to Wye River a couple of times now over the past couple of years. It's truly one of the great relaxing towns along the Great Ocean Rd to visit. The BIG4 Wye River campgrounds are well maintained & the camp sites are quite generous in size there's plenty of things to do within the campgrounds from young kids all the way up to senior campers. The beauty of Wye River is that it's half way between Lorne & Apollo Bay so you have the luxury of being able to relax at Wye River and do very little or you can take a 30min drive either way to Lorne or Apollo Bay. You have the best of both worlds.😊👍

An amazing stay. Stayed at the family unit with 3 bedrooms. The cabin was comparable to a 5 star hotel room. From the spacious living room, to the very comfy bedrooms, stone benchtops kitchen, pots and pans, appliances, everything were well thought out and made it a very classy quality stay. The water pressure was amazing and plenty of hot water for 2 families with kids. We were very lucky to get the end cabin facing the hills and view was amazing. So much to do with peddle gokarts, jumping cushions, games room and more. The service was absolutely fantastic.

We stayed here for 3 days and had a really wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the reception staff were super friendly and welcoming, which gave us a great first impression. Check-in was smooth, and they kindly explained everything we needed to know. The park is very well maintained and clean. All the facilities, including the bathrooms, showers, and common areas, were spotless and clearly well looked after. Even though it’s surrounded by nature, everything felt tidy and comfortable. It’s a great place for families, couples, or friends, and we would definitely love to come back again. Highly recommended!

Such an upgrade from our last visit! Big range of accommodation available with the newer cabins having some amazing features such as bathroom floor heating! The park itself if massive with a games room, gym, coffee truck, playground, and more. The staff were all also very lovely and welcoming. Really enjoyed a relaxing weekend here and I’m planning on coming back to try their safari tents as well. :)

A beautiful park that you'll want to come back to. Hard to tell it hosted a natural disaster a fortnight ago, we sat by the river, birdlife and kangaroos everywhere to be seen. Individual firepits at most sites. An over-zealous kookaburra stole my friend's sausage right out of her hand! They come THAT close! Cool bar located in a converted 1960s caravan serves slushies, cans, coffee and hot chocolate. A cool musical trio played covers on bass, guitar and fiddle. Didn't have need of the enormous camp kitchen or playground. Stayed in a very comfortable, well appointed (coffee, tea, stove, crockery, utensils, etc.), brand-new cabin decorated in white, charcoal and walnut, with forest-floor views out large picture-windows. Luxury mattresses and white linen. What a luxury weekend. Thanks.
