Expensive for what it is, a 2-bedroom cabin with an oven door that needed propping closed with a chair, cracked bathroom tiles. Nice size, great heating (it was really cold when we were there) and shower, and close to the main shops. Zero privacy if you have the curtains even a bit open...anyone next to you/opposite or driving/walking past can see in. Don't leave anything outside, reports of bikes and other things being stolen by no-gooders entering the park at night. Nowhere nice to walk close by. The lady at reception said they do very well from the almost weekly Kapooka Army Base march out ceremonies ..that explains the inflated price. Definitely compare pricing to other places. If you're going up for march out, book anywhere in Wagga well in advance.

We travelled all the way from Melbourne to stay here. Staff are friendly, we camped out on a powered grass site. Lots of grass for kids to play. There are also cabins if you donβt want to camp outside. Guest pool with a sunshade, a playground and a giant chess board. Community kitchen and fridges. Laundry room $7 for wash and $1 for 10 minutes on the dryer or there is a clothes line. Showers and toilets available. I think thereβs 5 showers and 5 toilets and they have ambulant 1 toilet and 1 shower as well. There is also a river that you can fish in down the back of the site but isnβt suitable to swim in as the current is very strong. Free wifi as well. The kitchen and laundry shut at 10:00pm

We normally have an uncovered site for our caravan so we can wake up and admire the view and enjoy the lovely grassed area. It's a short stroll to the river so you can chuck a line in. The system staff a very helpful

We stayed in a cabin for 2 nights at the beginning of Summer. The aircon couldn't keep up and although the living area was cool the west facing bedroom was stifling. The pool closed at 6pm which was very disappointing as itβs still light then and a lovely time to swim. It was located next to a service station with a grocery store so that was very handy. The river was at the rear of the property which was nice. I wouldnβt stay here again though, especially in hot weather. .

Excellent holiday park, very family friendly and the cabin accommodation is new and clean. Bring your bikes to get into town and park up the car for the weekend, the river track is next tldoor and it's a short ride into town all away from cars and road traffic. I would reccomended and I will return
