Stayed here during the low season in late May and had a very cozy stay. The staff were super friendly, and we were even able to check in a bit early, which we really appreciated. We stayed in a Classic 2 Bedroom Cabin with 3 people, and it was nice, clean, and dry which I especially loved since it was raining all day during our visit. The only issue we had was that the WiFi in Cabin 28 was not working, so the smart TV also could not connect. Even with that, we were still very happy with our stay overall. Highly recommend BIG4 Tassie Getaway Parks St Helens, and I would definitely stay here again if I’m back in the area one day.

Great little Caravan Park in a good location. We stayed in a cabin which had plenty of room for two people. There was a driveway to park your car right next to your cabin and it had all the amenities you needed. The only thing I would suggest is a sheer curtain for the windows and sliding glass door. You either keep the blind open and have no privacy or close it and the cabin is too dark.

Nice, clean, and well-maintained place overall. I booked a powered concrete/grass site, which was in good condition. The kitchen facilities are quite well equipped, with crockery, utensils, BBQs, stovetops, toaster, kettles, and a microwave. There’s also a larger lounge sitting area, which is a nice bonus. The whole campground was quiet and relaxing, especially considering it wasn’t fully booked. Amenities were generally clean, although two of the shower units were out of order. A nice touch was the addition of shower foot towels, even though we didn’t end up using them. My main complaint is that there were no cloths or wipes available in the kitchen to clean surfaces after use. This wasn’t helped by some guests not cleaning up after themselves, leaving the kitchen area untidy at times. Overall, a pleasant stay with good facilities, just a few small improvements needed.

Would have preferred to have given 3 1/2 stars if it was possible. Stayed in a superior cabin and while it was fine (apart from a slightly dodgy shower) it was not a particularly pleasant place to stay. Too much concrete, a view of a cabin wall through the sliding doors and a lounge window that looked straight into the next cabin so we kept the blinds down most of the time. Could have been excellent but not enough thought put into how people experience cabin life.

Absolutely fantastic park- sets a new high bar. Staff are lovely but the true standout is the feel of the park. Our youngest said she wanted to move in- people staying all seemed to be warm and friendly and welcoming. The price for powered sites is very reasonable. Camp kitchen is huge with its own bathrooms and attached tv room for kids. Also has a roofed area with pizza ovens which we’ll try next time. Games room has arcade machines and a baby soft play area plus a tv and loads of books for all ages of children. Bouncing pad is from 8am to dusk and huge- big kids would jump on one side so littles could fly high - lots of fun. Only suggestions to make it even better- credit card facilities for laundry- who carries cash these days?! On the other hand I did have lots of conversations while walking around seeing if anyone could change my note. Also recycling bins - I really really don’t like binning bottles, cans and cardboard. Regardless we’re planning our next stay!
