This was 4th time staying at BIG 4 Nelligen, two times in very well appointed cabins and this was second time on powered River sites in caravan (all winter stays). The park is always well presented, the staff are great, providing a very peaceful and relaxing time, every time. This park has become our June stay every year now.

For years we always drove by Nelligen on the way further south and thought it looked like a lovely spot. I only wish we had stopped sooner. It was extremely peaceful and calm. The park was well maintained The staff very friendly and helpful.

This is a great park if you like to escape the noise and relax by the river. River front or Creek frontage sites are the best if you like to look at the water. Weekends can be a bit busy with ski boats, but they stay mainly further upstream. Some good fish are to be caught right at the park and it has a small boat ramp that is good for mid to high water launching. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Batemans Bay is just 10 minutes away for shopping and eating, but the pub across the road had great food and just a stroll from the park.

Had a wonderful stay at Big 4 Nelligen on an unpowered creek front site with the most beautiful views. The sites are a good size, grassy and most of them have plenty of shade. It is a perfect spot for SUP or kayaking, even swimming. The river is tidal, therefore no stagnant water and no mozzies. The campground is well kept, clean amenities and pool and lovely staff at reception. Would definitely stay here again.
