We had a fantastic family holiday here. Beautiful location, great facilities and the kids absolutely loved the water splash park, waterslide, jumping pillow and play ground. Quick drive to Yamba with glorious beaches, nature walks and fishing. We stayed in the Figtree cabin and highly recommend.

Saltwater Resort Yamba Review We booked Saltwater Resort Yamba online thinking we would be staying in Yamba itself. When we arrived, we quickly realised the resort is not actually in the township of Yamba, but closer to 15 minutes out. When we book holiday parks, especially with young kids, we usually look for somewhere close to town so we can walk to parks, cafes, coffee shops and have a few more options nearby. The resort looks very deluxe and βbougieβ through TikTok and online advertising. To be fair, some of the videos we saw may not have been posted by the park itself and could have been from people staying there. However, the overall impression we got was that there would be more food and drink options available, such as restaurants or bars where parents could grab dinner or a drink once the kids were asleep. Unfortunately, we were disappointed to find out that the swim-up pool bar was the only place you could get food, and it was only open while the pool was open. We arrived around 5pm and went for a walk, but by around 5:30pm there was no bar open and nowhere on-site to get food. This was a big let-down, especially being so far out of town. We felt the location of the resort was not explained clearly enough when booking. We stayed one night of our three-night booking before deciding to move to another park closer to town. That said, the facilities themselves are fantastic. Everything feels brand new β the bathrooms, laundry, reception, seating areas and pool facilities are beautifully presented. The splash park, oasis pool, swim-up pool bar and undercover bar area for colder weather really do live up to the hype. We have no complaints at all about that side of the resort. However, this is a big βhoweverβ β while the resort advertises itself as an oasis, only certain sections of the park currently feel that way. Other areas still feel unfinished, with floodplain-style areas, construction machinery, and sections that look more like basic paddocks than resort grounds. The gardens and grounds outside the main pool/facility area still need a lot of work. In my opinion, this park is probably three to four years away from fully delivering on what it advertises. Caravan parks and resorts are becoming bigger and more popular across Australia, but I do feel it is misleading to advertise a full resort-style oasis when only one section of the park currently feels that way. If you are looking for somewhere to stay where you mainly eat in your caravan, sleep, and spend your time at the splash park and pool, then this could be a great option. But if you are looking for a holiday park close to town, with more food options, places to walk with kids, cafes, parks and things to do nearby, I would recommend looking for somewhere closer to Yamba itself. Overall, the facilities are great, but the location and unfinished grounds really let it down for us. We had a lovely weekend! We stayed in an unpowered site and loved how spacious it was and away from everyone. We all loved the pool, slides and swim up bar. Plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained they loved the jumping pillow, pedal carts and playground. Not many food options but didnβt bother us we were happy to cook. Will definitely be back

We booked this place specifically for their pool and were not disappointed!! Amazing pool area, loved the swim up bar and movie screen. Wish the kids waterpark wasn't separately fenced though. Our cabin was lovely and had everything we needed, but the couch bed was just springs unfortunately. It was nice experience overall though, I think camping here is the way to go! It was a little distance from town, but with the kids entertained you don't need to leave!

Spent 3 nights here this week. This is an amazing caravan park, dog friendly, kid friendly. We took our caravan, and kids and grandkids had a cabin. Facilities are great, the waterpark was brilliant and the pool next level. It was still being built when we were last there. Our dogs love it there as there is a huge dog park attached, it's not far from a great dog friendly beach and some great cafes. The staff were very welcoming, the facilities clean, the pizza oven wasn't working and when we let staff know, it was fixed before dinner time. Really enjoyed our time there as did the family.
