This park was such a nice quiet, spaced out place for much needed rest! The beautiful jetty made for some perfect site seeing. There were plenty of amenities with the main block having a laundry for only $4/load! With more spacious showers etc available by the camp kitchen and games room! They also had an exercise course as well as a jumping pillow which we got our use on lol. Oh and $5 ice bags! We loved our stay! Thank you big 4 karuah jetty!

The littlest problem for us was the pots and pans being too small for our group. But we made it work. Staff were amazing , communication was on point. The locals were absolutely lovely and everywhere we went we got a "good morning" or "hello". I'd definitely bring my family back here in the future

A lovely find for a night's stop on our way to Q'land. Only a short detour from the Princes Hwy - perfect. The lady at reception was friendly & efficient, our cabin clean & comfortable. Not far for dinner to the local RSL where meals were superb. I have already recommended Big 4 Karuah to friends who travel north!

Overall it was a great place to stay. The only reason for 4 stars is because the sites we booked 10 months in advance have turned from grass sites to concrete sites with no communication given in advance. We found out on the day we arrived. No issues for those with Caravans but we came with tents. Reception managed to rearranged to fit us in to a different site, although the resolution wasn't the best but better than sending us home on day one simply because there is no way we can setup our tents on solid grounds. Note: This camp ground is more designed for Caravans for those who plans to visit. I think they are planning to add more slabs in also in the future. Update: The resolution from the team has yet satisfied our expectations with regards to the compensation we are expected to receive. We have been following up multiple times but end up been redirected. We were told the refund has been made during our stay but still nothing happened 3 weeks down the track. Disappointed to have rated high on service. Bringing it down for this reason.

Its a alright park that needs some improvement. The pool needs to be cleaned more regularly. They need another pool or a bigger one, it's very busy, crowded there. Also, our cabin was a bit unhinged. Doors wouldn't close properly, they were very loud. They need a updated play area. More under cover areas are needed when it's hot/raining etc. It's a bit expensive. They haven't updated or upgraded or improved anything there in the past few years. The holiday activities are okay, the fishing off the jetty is nice.
