Really like this caravan park, good size sites and extra spots around the park for your car. Little cafe at the entrance is great good simple cafe food and great coffee, really liked the theame nights with a different special each night. Staff at reception were very good. We have earmarked this place for a revisit.

Tasman Holiday Parks South Mission Beach was one of the highlights of our trip up the East Coast of Australia, and Pete and Elvira absolutely made the park what it is. Their friendly, welcoming nature, genuine interest in their guests, and outstanding customer service were the best we've experienced anywhere on our travels. The van sites are spacious and well maintained, the beach is literally a one-minute walk away, and the views are stunning. We were treated to some of the most amazing sunrises and sunsets we've ever seen. The karaoke night was an absolute blast and a great way to meet fellow travellers. What really set this place apart was Pete and Elvira's local knowledge. They pointed us towards so many incredible attractions and experiences, including Barra Down Under, Elandra, Dunk Island, Murdering Point Winery, Charlie's Chocolate Factory, and the Cardwell Spa Pools, just to name a few. Their recommendations helped make our stay unforgettable. South Mission Beach is the perfect base to explore this beautiful part of Far North Queensland, and Tasman Holiday Parks made us feel right at home from day one. We made some wonderful memories here and can't wait to return one day. Highly recommended! Meals at Tuskers available Wednesday to Sunday right at the park were also fabulous 🐿🍝 πŸŒ΄β˜€οΈ A true Far North Queensland gem! πŸŒŠπŸ–οΈ

Such a gem for us. Peter rang and confirmed the configuration of beds for us a couple of days prior to our check-in. On opening the door to our villa we thought we had landed in paradise. The villa was spacious, clean with comfortable beds and a fully stocked kitchen. The pictures on booking were exactly what we got. Would highly recommend this beautiful park and friendly staff.

Great park, reasonably priced and good amenities. Has a nice resort style pool with slide for the kids. Across the road from patrolled beach and small boat hire. Customer service was great, worked out cheaper for us to book online. Restaurant out front with weekly deals. Not ideal for Big Rigs, we managed to find a great spot and were able to choose what suited us best. This was only due to limited number of bookings and arriving mid week. Wildlife in the park was awesome!

Stayed 3 days in our caravan and the park is lovely. Very tropical and clean and well cared for. The pool is gorgeous and the amenities clean and well equipped. Joe in reception was awesome. Only cons for us was, 1. the site, whilst very pretty and totally convenient to the amenities and pool, was very small. Had it been busy season with all sites full we could not have parked our car once unhitched. The sites are fine for camper vans and motor homes but not great for caravans in the busy season. Luckily it was fairly quiet, but we did note we were the only caravan on site and all others were campers and motor homes, except one other up the back in a larger site. 2. some confusion with rates for additional nights when extending the stay, but all good. The cabins looked very nice from what we could see and the restaurant, Tuskers, was fantastic. Great food and atmosphere and very well priced. All up a lovely stay, until we got new neighbours who smoked a lot, and we couldn’t sit outside. Maybe there should be smokers sites and non smokers sites in van parks?
