Beautiful location, clean, well-managed, good facilities, nice crowd, mostly lap swimmers, but there are also great spaces for babies and toddlers. The walk there from the city - through the Botanic Gardens and/or along the harbour - is also lovely.

Bicentennial park was great. However, until recently the council has not been maintaining it and because of this, the grass is preposterously long. There are now only so many places one can walk as they only mow small trails. Having the long grass comes with many hazards, such as attracting snakes, increasing the rabbit population - which is harming the many special plants at this park, and it's at risk of catching fire which can be even more dangerous for the many houses surrounding the park.

A beautiful area for a relaxing stroll in the bush πΎπΎπ£. We like to pretend that we're in the middle of nowhere π³.

Lovely little playground great for all ages. Fresh soft fall added by council is a bonus. Quiet carpark. Lots of space. No toilet facilities or intentional shade and sometimes the ground has fragments of glass etc in the surrounding area.
