Stayed for a week with the kids. They didn’t get bored and loved every second. All the animal feeding and patting was amazing and all the workers and farmers were so lovely and welcoming with everyone, especially the kids! The gnome walk was a hit and the fires at night and the Guinea pigs were great babysitters whilst the adults had a drink on the porch. Would definitely come back!

A group of twenty of us (ages 67 -2years) camped (unpowered) at Bestbrook over the weekend. it's in a beautiful setting and the campgrounds are clean and well maintained. the sites are spacious and we were in a very private spot. Gnome Gully walk to the cave was particularly loved by the kids. 4x4 drive trek to the lookout was also great fun! Daily schedule of activities for the kids with plenty to do, from milking cows, horse riding and damper making to mention a few. Bingo in the afternoon was awesome, followed by sundowners. Highly recommend the breaky burger, beef burger and Parmi. Staff are incredibly helpful. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

More suited for little children. We are adults from the city who didn’t grow up around animals but we wanted to experience some farmstay. However, the activities were mostly talks and ‘touch and go’ rather than hands on, for example the butter churning experience was just allowing us to spin the handle a few rounds. We enjoyed feeding the animals and a short cow milking session which lasted about 10s per person, then we watched the calves drink the milk from the cow. The instructions and the map to the caves for a short hike was not clear, and it took us a little longer to get to the dwarf caves. The rooms had facilities for cooking, but there was no dishwashing liquid or sponge

We had a wonderful stay over the long weekend. The team are so lovely, informative and enthusiastic. The campsites were generously sized and there was plenty of space, despite it being very busy. The included activities were excellent - animal feeding, cow milking and damper making all had plenty of space for everyone, and everyone had a turn. We thoroughly enjoyed the horse riding lesson - a great experience for myself and my son, while both my sons also enjoyed the intro ride with the parent led horse rides. Excellent value. Restaurant was also great and was able to cater to my gluten allergy safely. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

This was the second time we've gone to Bestbrooke - 2nd year in a row. We are talking about making it our yearly holiday while our kids are little. We have a 6yo and 4yo. This time we stayed 4 nights in a powered site - we went to all the animal feeding sessions (yep, all 8 we were able to attend!) And the kids were super sad to not get anymore. Its a great learning experience for big and small and the team know their stuff and are just genuinely great people. They are so patient with kids and will answer all questions. We were able to stay on-site the whole time this trip - just ducked out to Warwick for the cool bike track but came back k in time for 2:30 animal feeding - of course. My son used to be so afraid of all animals and its really helped him build his confidence. By the end he was catching his own guinea pigs and chickens and was even tasting the cow milk. I think its good for older kids but they won't be going to all feedings necessarily so fewer days. Smaller kids, they will love going to see each animal and getting their favorite of each and getting a freshly laid egg. They will not get enough!
