Beautiful spot only 2 hours from Sydney. Kangaroos, wombats, clear night skies makes for a good time. Toilets are clean and plenty of space to pitch your tent or park your campervan. You need to be aware that mobile phone signal is patchy at best and no camp fires.

Great spot. We went in March for 3 nights and there were plenty of spots available. Basic amenities, no showers and the toilets get pretty nasty after a few days. The river is beautiful, next time we will try kayaks. There's no fires permitted and no power so be prepared. Lots of wildlife with wombats the star of the show. There's little to no mobile reception. The security/ranger office was mostly unattended during our stay. The road in is pretty rough but can be carefully traversed with most vehicles during dry weather. We'll be back.

Been twice and we decided to come every year, very relaxing place, the staff and kind and always happy. The place is very big and even if fully booked is not overcrowded there plenty of space for everyone. Lots of Wombat and Cangaroos, and some Wallabies too!

Lovely place to camp right near the river and notany mosquitoes. Lucky enough to see goanna, wombats and a diamond python. Due to the abundance of wombats at the camp at dusk there were tour buses full of people taking selfies and scaring them back into the bush. Not very respectful of the animals. Worth the $6 camp fee but it would be nice if tours weren't allowed to come through.

We went here on a day tour from Sydney. It was fantastic! We really wanted to see kangaroos and wombats in the wild and we saw a lot more than we were hoping for. Wombats don't seem to be bothered by people being around which was surprising. Kangaroos are more shy.
