Situated 150 kilometres northwest of Brisbane near Linville in the Blackbutt Range at 350 metres elevation, Benarkin National Park features rainforest, hoop pine plantations and eucalypt forests overlooking scenic Emu Creek. The Brisbane Valley Rail Trail and Bicentennial National Trail pass through the park, offering opportunities for hiking, cycling, picnicking, fishing and platypus spotting. Two camping areas provide sites suitable for tents, caravans and motorhomes.
