Definitely one of my favourite places to visit. The long hikes are not really difficult but certainly beautiful and very well worth it. Amazing that such a place is only a half hour train ride from the city.

The new playground is lovely, and we are so glad they retained the old play tunnels. They have been an Adelaide icon for generations. We've had kangaroos and emus wander past us while we play. Car entry is $13.90 as of April 2026. Plenty of parking available near the playground.

My cousin packed a picnic for her partner, herself & me to have at Belair National Park. The weather was a perfect ☀️ summer day, not too hot. Plenty of big trees for shade. The kookaburras were friendly too. A really nice lunch and lovely to be outdoors with fresh air, trees 🌳 and native birds, like the kookaburras. Would definitely visit Belair National Park again.
