We stayed one night here , the rooms were great and the staff were very friendly and helpful . As we have been travelling Aust in a 30 sec tent for over 2 1/2 years it was a little luxury to stay here in a cabin, even the water being off the next morning everywhere in Geraldton didn't deter from our enjoyable experience. Beautiful park, but critical security issues β lock your doors! βWe stayed at an ensuite site here for one night in mid-May. The surroundings were beautiful, and the bathroom was very clean and comfortable. βHowever, during the early hours of the morning, our front car door was opened. The next morning, we realized our small pouch had been stolen. The thief must have realized there was no cash inside, as he(?) just tossed it away nearby. Luckily, another guest found it and returned it to us the next morning. Fortunately, we didn't lose anything valuable. βLocking doors and windows is basic common sense, and it was our own oversight. But I want to remind everyone staying here that you must lock your doors and windows securely. While this place is beautiful, the security is highly questionable. We didn't suffer any financial loss, and there is no way for us to pursue the matter further, so this is just a friendly warning to fellow travelers.

This is a tough one - staff , facilities are first rate - nice clean en-suite caravan site , great shower bathroom. etc-nice shaded large spots - good kitchen & laundry - so why 3 stars ? Holy crap Is it loud - all night trains running , cargo ships loading - the industrial park , rail head and ship Yard is right next door and they run all night :$ no fault of people or park but if youβre looking for a quiet place at night then get some high grade ear plugs - but if noise is not an issue then. 5 stars all the way ! I hate to leave a review based on things not in parks control but at the end of that day - sleep Is the goal for me

Not too bad a location but could hear the trains shunting all night. Apparently there is a lot of theft so lock everything up (was warned twice). Take a torch with you to use the amenities in the middle of the night as the lights turn off automatically, leaving you sitting in total darkness. Staff are lazy and lack social skills. 1. Did not follow up on the disgusting sewer smell (just moved sites so as not to offend the βstrangeβ person letting out grey/black water directly onto the ground). The stench and 100βs of flies was so putrid that you couldnβt sit outside. 2. Staff too lazy to knock on the doors of two amenities blocks, or put up a couple of signs to say they were turning the water off. Hair full of shampoo, water cut off, freezing cold and NO WARNING or advice until too late. Was apparently a leak and βvery urgentβ but only a relatively small pool of water in a lower area of the park where nobody was camping/parked. (husband checked it out and spoke to repairer). Do not recommend this park.

Good communication. Quick checkin. We had a cabin. It was clean and contained what we needed to be independent. Pool, playground, BBQ area, inflatable pillow for kids to play on. Close to the beach. Short drive into Geraldton city. Can use Beam public scooters from here.
