Bear With Me seriously always delivers the best quality food and atmosphere. We visit every time we’re in Tassie and the food is consistently delicious, fresh and just as good as we remember. The kind staff, vibey music and cozy atmosphere really add to the experience.

Really welcoming neighbourhood cafe with lively atmosphere. We had a fried noodle dish which had a laksa style broth and the sticky pork with leaves and herbs. I could have done with less pork but with some rice instead. However, flavour was delicious. Coffees good too.

Alright straight away you’ll walk into this place and be asking who was the interior designer, great vibe and perfect lighting, banging playlist with music that wasn’t too loud, but not so quite it was awkward. We were served immediately, and I asked for a smoothie recommendation and boy oh boy wowee did our waiter deliver. I got a “nut monkey” smoothie which was most definitely a SMOOTHIE; not watery and thin like a juice but chunky and thick, beautiful flavours blended brilliantly (also came in a beer-can esque glass which made me feel like I was at a chill local pub, but getting my health grind on). I got the eggs bene which I was hesitant on however when it arrived, the new wave style of pea puree and Granny Smith apple on top elevated this to another level I can’t find the words. Forget bacon, the ham on this bene was smokey and flavourful, again without making me so guilty that I felt like I had to walk home to negate it. A perfect blend of cafe classics and a bit of snazz to lift them up better than the competition. Only fallback was I couldn’t get my smoothie with full cream milk, only almond but hey- life goes on and I could hardly tell the difference. Great atmosphere, great vibe, good tunes, get your laughing gear around anything off this menu you won’t regret it.
