Stayed here recently and found the experience disappointing, mainly due to the overall atmosphere and facilities provided for the price charged. The park appears to operate with extremely strict rules and close monitoring from management. We received a phone call shortly after 12pm asking our arrival time, which felt unnecessary given standard check-in procedures. On arrival, we were also told that under absolutely no circumstances could even part of a tyre touch the concrete slab while positioning the van. Management closely supervised the parking process to enforce this. As someone very experienced reversing trailers and heavy vehicles, including B-double trucks, this level of oversight felt excessive and uncomfortable. Facilities were also quite limited for the size of the park. There are only two amenities blocks servicing the entire park, each with minimal showers and toilets. Unfortunately, there was also a noticeable urine smell coming from the toilet areas during our stay. The boom gate situation was also frustrating. When the gate did not open, management immediately assumed it was faulty and mentioned calling someone out to repair it. It turned out the vehicle simply had not been positioned close enough to the sensor. Once moved over the sensor properly, the gate worked normally. Other drawbacks included no Wi-Fi, and a very small, dated laundry with coin-only machines despite there being nowhere within the park to obtain coins. Two washing machines were also out of order, which would likely become a significant issue during busy periods. Overall, the facilities and experience did not reflect the premium pricing being charged.

Beachside Caravan Prison or Park? If your idea of a relaxing getaway involves needing a PhD in Beachsideβs rule book just to avoid accidentally breaching section 47(b) subsection βdonβt breathe too loudlyβ, then congratulations, youβve picked the right place. This park runs on rules. Lots of them, carefully written to cover almost every situation, which means there is usually a clause ready to fall back on rather than any real flexibility or common sense. The booking system feels like itβs been held together with duct tape and hope, which leads to confusion that somehow always ends up costing the customer more than expected, with refunds almost never being an option once the rules and terms and conditions are referenced. On arrival, instead of a relaxed welcome, it feels less like checking into a holiday park and more like stepping into a compliance briefing, where the rulebook takes priority over any sense of hospitality or common sense. What really stands out is how consistent the negative reviews are. Time and again, guests raise similar complaints about confusion, rigid enforcement, and poor communication, and the responses from the owners almost always follow the same pattern. Itβs never a flaw in the system, never poor communication, never an unreasonable policy. Itβs always framed as the customer misunderstanding, failing to comply, or not reading the fine print closely enough, with the rules ultimately taking priority over any reasonable resolution. Overall, itβs less βcoastal escapeβ and more βyou are here to complyβ. If thatβs your thing, youβll love it. If not, there are plenty of other parks where you can actually relax.

This is an amazing caravan park. Sites are very big & easy to reverse into. If you would like help, staff are happy to assist. Right on the beach. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. The amenities are clean & tidy. The beach is very calm so anyone can swim in it. There is a flag area further into town. Close to all shops, cinema, Yeppoon is just amazing. The only negative thing was βI didnβt want to leave πβ We will be back π David and Tracey Ayling

We recently spent four nights here and it was brilliant. The location, wow, right on the beach but also such easy access to shops & cafes. Every staff we came into contact with was so pleasant, the grounds were so well kept and the bathrooms always immaculate. We will definitely be back! Thanks for a wonderful memorable stay.

Beautiful Beachside Spot As their name says, absolute beachside location with island views. Huge beach when tide is out wonderful for walking and biking. Also great for families with kids who want to get into some sandcastle action. Lots of powered beachfront sites, all level, they have some unpowered sites too and lots of trees if looking for some shade. My check-in was friendly and efficient and a staff member helped me onto my site. Amenities and laundry very clean, park has 4 dump points, 2 camp kitchens with BBQs and even pots with herbs. Perhaps a 10-15 minute walk into town CBD and just a tad longer to the fabulous Yeppoon lagoon. Iβm sure Iβll be back.
