We stayed for 2 nights on our tour of the islands. Fantastic location near beach and perfect also for birdwatchers. Campsite was brilliant- good facilities and extremely clean and well kept. Very friendly and helpful owners. Would highly recommend

The cabin we has was a basic one, a bit older, but for 1 night stay was fine. Management were great and stayed back to give us our keys as we didn't arrive till later in the day.

Took an overnight cabin which was a very disappointing experience due to its inadequate set up. Including bed light not working, no bedside table, no shampoo or conditioner. Not a sharp knife to be found in the kitchen or basics such as salt and pepper or kitchen towels. No internet. No thought given to the comfort or convenience of overnight travellers.

I booked a powered campsite for my travel back to Adelaide. No issues with the site I was given. My concern was around the fact that I had a dog with me and I opted to stay at this caravan park because it was advertised as pet friendly. It is barely pet tolerant. When I arrived at my campsite and started to set up I received a phone call from the office, about 300 metres away telling me to put my dog on leash . At that time my dog, a retired guide dog ( which the person from the office knew) was laying placidly near my car while I put my tent up. Ok, fair enough. I put my dog's leash on and tethered her to a bin while i finshed setting up. My sister and brother inlaw arrived soon after and moved into the cabin nearby they had taken for the night. I went to say hello (we live in different states and were meeting up for one night, sharing a meal). My dog was on-leash and I walked up on to the porch of the unit. The staff member immediately turned up on a quad bike and told me to take my dog back to my campsite, that my dog was not allowed on the verandah of the cabin, nor in fact, anywhere near the cabin. I was explicity told that unless I was walking my dog, on leash, in the park, she needed to stay at my campsite, with me. I was also unable to walk away, leaving her at my campsite. That meant my sister and brother inlaw had to bring some chairs from their verandah (I'm still unsure this was allowed) to my campsite so that we could spend time together. How ridiculous is that? I had no intention of taking my dog into their cabin. We just wanted to sit on their verandah to have toasted sandwiches. Ok I understand that some people are not as responsible as they should be when it comes to dog management. But I am not that person and this park has made their rules based on the fact that SOME people do the wrong thing. Get with the program Council. Lots of people travel with pets and most act resposibly. Don't stay here if you think they will be pet friendly. There are also many, many vicious prickles in this park. Its not a great place to walk you dog either.

Lovely little caravan park, staff very friendly and accommodating. The highway is close by but I didn't hear anything in my van and found it very peaceful. The amenities were spotless, and the grassed areas and gardens were very well-kept. My powered site was level and easy to access. I highly recommend a stay here.
