Fantastic park to catch your breath if travelling. We found our battery to run the internals of the motor home had gone flat so called in here to run the generator. Heaps of room so found a spot away from others. You can't camp here but great place to refresh. Wonderful kids play areas, super clean toilets, barbecues, lovely creek that locals must swim in as there's a swing rope tied to a tree branch. Also a tap to fill our water tank.

Toilet paper was abit small other than that kinda clean not too bad great park for kids to burn some energy while on the road.

Beautiful spot to stop. Plenty of shade. The running creek has fish (tilapia) aplenty. Decent modern but well used toilets. Lots of picnic tables and a nice playground for the kids. Also a Burdekin Shire information booth with volunteer staff. You can drive up the back for a very quiet spot. Camping is illegal here and the plethora of signs will ensure you know that very well!!

A lot of hard work had gone on this area. It’s got everything for the whole family to enjoy. Pathways to walk around. . Play areas for the children . An area to get married outside . Free BBQ’s , lots of seated areas, toilets that were clean , tourists information centre. On Sundays there are market stalls . Cafe and plenty of parking . It accommodates everyone, disabled , pushchairs. Very nicely set out and still working on it . I recommend this area . Go and take a look yourselves.

Clean toilets. Shaded tables and chairs as well as large quantities of trees The nature park is lovely with pumping water play and natural timber climbing frame. More suitable for adventurous 2 plus year olds who can reach the bigger heights but younger kids can still play in the sand and use their bikes on the tracks or use the swings.
