Archers Lookout sits atop Duke Mountain in the Upper Burnett region near Gayndah, a short walk from the town centre. The steep 1.1-kilometre track climbs approximately 216 metres and is rated as hard. The reward is a 360-degree panoramic view of Gayndah and surrounding country, with directional markers and information plaques identifying points of interest. The lookout is named after the Archer brothers, who were the first Europeans to cross the Burnett River at the site where Gayndah now stands.
