Angourie Back Beach is a south-facing beach in Angourie, NSW, within Yuraygir National Park. Accessible on foot from the Angourie car park or via Back Beach Road from Wooloweyah, the beach is popular in spring when northerly winds create calmer waters on the sheltered side. The car park has toilets and an outdoor shower, and a nearby lookout overlooks Angourie Point. The beach is not patrolled by lifeguards, and rips and undertows are common; the NSW government advises choosing patrolled beaches and swimming between the flags. Camping and overnight vehicle stays are prohibited in the national park, and dogs are not permitted on the beach. Entry is free and no access facilities are available for people with mobility needs.
