Terrifyingly unsafe! DO NOT STAY HERE! We booked an ensuite site located near the front of the campsite, we were staying in our rooftop tent. We were woken up at 1am to a man trying to break into our car, I screamed and he stared at me and casually walked away! We contacted the emergency number who replied with “thanks, i will have a look” I stayed awake the whole night scared he would return, no security check - nothing! Anybody can just wander onto the campsite. The next day we went to reception to ask to move pitch as we felt our pitch was a prime target right near the entrance and we were scared he might come back, the lady told us “they usually don’t come back” as well as “somebody next door had their car broken in too last night too” as if this is a common occurrence. Reception were dismissive and rude and only after pleading with her to move us for our own safety she finally agreed but made sure we were aware it was inconvenient for her to do - no empathy, no care. We are two females and you can only imagine how scared we were and what a shame that the staff were not interested about our safety. Book elsewhere there are so many safer campsites in Albany! Avoid this one!

Fabulous experience at Tasman Albany. All the staff are very friendly and approachable. They all went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The amenities and camp kitchens are fantastic and clean. Within walking distance to town. I highly recommend this park. Do yourself a favour and don’t stay anywhere else

Great location with drive through sites angled against the wind. Large concrete slabs enable easy set up. Power, water and grey water. Nice showers and clean ablutions. Camp kitchen was great with fireplace, pizza ovens and bbq. Camp wide wifi available.

I had an amazing experience with this service. Even before I arrived, their support and communication were outstanding. Due to some unexpected personal issues, I had to cancel my booking at the last moment. Although the policy clearly stated it was non-refundable, they still chose to provide me with a full refund without any hassle. This level of understanding, kindness, and professionalism is truly rare. I’m very grateful and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and customer-focused service.
