π Lakes Entrance, VIC
Ninety Mile Beach stretches for 151 kilometres from a spit near Port Albert to the man-made channel at Lakes Entrance, making it the fourth longest uninterrupted beach in the world. The beach separates the Gippsland Lakes from Bass Strait and features an endless vista of golden sand with no rocky outcrops or headlands. Visitors can enjoy beach fishing, swimming, walking, whale-watching and dolphin-spotting along this pristine and largely unspoilt coastline in the Gippsland region.
